Young Harts Writing Festival are providing an innovative opportunity for writers aged 10-25 year olds to showcase their talent against professionals within the industry!
Harts Theatre Company in partnership with Lyric Hammersmith to provide and opportunity for Young writers and creatives to work alongside professionals to write their own plays.
Young Harts Writing festival is a new inter-borough writing festival which bridges the gap between emerging talent and professionals within the industry (something which we all know is needed!)
Through an online competition, 6 plays written by emerging young writers are chosen, they then receive £100 commission alongside a free writing masterclass with Inua Ellams with another month to complete their plays. One thing we love about this opportunity is that each young writer also gets paired with a professional writer as a mentor!
