3 Male Actors and an Assistant Director are needed for new play ‘Waiting For The Riverman’ by Dan Horrigan and the details are as follows:
Venue: The Stockwell Playhouse One Act Festival
Performance: one evening between May 28th and June 2nd (TBC)
Director: Eleanor Felton
Rate: Unpaid
Description:
Waiting for the River Man is a rendezvous between two lost youths and an angel that takes place early in the morning on a street in an affluent suburb of London. Hearts are broken, friendships have ended, and vengeance is on the cards. The nights are getting longer down here.
Roles:
WILL, early 20’s, grew up in an affluent, yet dysfunctional family in London.
RICH, early 20’s, brother to Will.
MUJADDID, an immigrant, survivor, and angel. He is either very young or very old.
Assistant Director: Needed to help transition the work from the rehearsal room to the performance venue (artistically, not just carrying furniture).
