Are you interested in making content? Are you already a content creator but want to take your ideas further?
Today we’re pleased to announce the first instalment of ‘Industry Access’ our training initiative in partnership with BCE and Liberty Mount to provide workshops and opportunities for creatives who want to carve out careers in the Film and TV industry.
The sessions will be carried out with our founder Pierre Godson-Amamoo who has over 8 years experience in producing content for online and broadcast stations and will cover the tips and tricks needed to transform your content from something ‘just uploaded’ to something you can ‘pitch an idea’ with.
You’ll create a range of content, including an industry-standard short film as well as having advice sessions from award-winning filmmakers and content producers such as; Quason Matthews, Sebastian Thiel, Tom Moutchi and Poet, all of whom began their careers creating content online and have translated their work and ideas onto TV, working with organsations such as BBC, Youtube, Lebara and many more.
No prior experience is necessary but there are some key points:
- Age range – 16-25
- Dates of workshops – Every Saturday from 28th April – 4th July
- Dedication needed
The industry is starving for more content and ideas from our culture but the key barrier has often been the quality of our content… So let’s get you equipped to take your ideas further!
