Plastic Pictures are currently casting male and female actors for an independent short film, details are below:

Synopsis: Mia’ tells the story of Ren, a man plunged into limbo between reality and an abstract dream world. Within this abstract environment, he is constantly subjected to memories and vivid visions of his recently departed love – Mia.
A dark, thought provoking piece – taking you on one man’s journey into his own mind as he struggles to separate dream from reality as he battles the relentless visions and memories of Mia.

Height: 5ft 7 – 6.2 ft
Build: Naturally skinny, regular build
Accent: Generic English Accent (neutral – South of England)
Ethnicity: Japanese/Korean
Hair Colour: Black/Dark Brown
Other attributes: Model like – naturally striking with defined features
Character Summary: Ren – a dark, brooding and tormented character who is stuck between two worlds. In one world we see him exploring the realms of a dream like state and in the other, his mixed perceptions of the present. He’s the protagonist – toying with the idea that reality is not always what it seems.
*There will be intimate kissing scenes between Ren and Mia.
Rate: £300 p/d per role.

Hair colour: Dark Blonde/Brunette/Black hair
Other attributes: The girl next door look mixed with naturally striking / defined features
Character Summary: Mia – a mysterious and enticing character. As the love of Ren’s life, she is the catalyst for his decent into the abstract, dreamlike world he finds himself. Beautiful, seductive but can be completely unassuming – Mia is capable of taking Ren through a spectrum of emotions brought on through the memories they shared.
Rate: £300 p/d per role.
