Looking for London-based actors for a theatre tour of Jack and the Beanstalk!
They are touring Art Centres, Residential Homes, Sheltered Housing, and Day Centres in London and the Home Counties in December and January.
The actors should be good all-rounders, happy to sing, do basic dance moves, improvise, and interact with audiences. They are also particularly interested in actors that drive and would be happy to be one of the tour drivers in the company car. All performers must be vaccinated.
- Cow and Evil Squire – Male Actor aged 20-45 years old. The Evil Squire is your typical Panto baddy very rich. The Cow is very grumpy partly because the actor playing it is annoyed, they have drawn the short straw and is being made to dress up like a cow.
- Dame Trott and Man/Woman of Mystery- Male or Female actress aged 25-45. Dame Trott is your typical larger-than-life pantomime dame. The Man of Mystery or Woman of Mystery is a random superhero that appears with the magic beans. She/he is very tongue in cheek and the part is written as the actor wanting to change from their original character to something more fun/glamorous.
- Jack /Jackie – Female or Male Actor aged 20-35. She is a tomboy forever trying to please her mum but always getting things wrong.
